Brother Alan became the Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church which is situated in NC specifically in Lenoir on 5th October in the year 2003. The Sermon Notebook is one of the easiest and one of the best ways to pass on the preachings of the Bible to all the people all over the world and it was designed and then released for the benefit of the people from the months of summer in the year 1997.

There are around 900 sermons which have already been written and there are many more outlines which have been provided in the website and then many sermons are being continuously preached and added according to the convenience as there is no fixed time allotted for updating the website. The Sermon Notebook consists of different segments which have been made for the convenience of the people starting with the thoughts and Ramblings which is like a blog for the teacher of Baptism which can be read and therefore many things can be derived by reading those blogs. There is a special internet radio which has been started to preach all the sermons and which is continuously played for 24 hours for the convenience of all the people.

There are thousands of audio sermons which are played so as to provide a source to the people to listen to the Gospel preachings for the people who do not like to read. There is another section in the Sermon Notebook dedicated for the people who dont get much to sit and read the preachings and therefore there are audio cds available of the preachings which can be ordered and then bought and then listened to at any point of time. There are around 2700 sermons which are present in the cd which are provided in a compact manner for the suitability of the people and their benefits by listening to those preachings. there si another sections which is at the side of the page usually denoted for all the activities that are going to take place in the church which is written in a coordinated manner providing all the required information in such a small space so as to spread awareness among maximum number of people who open the website.
